01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
In Nezu, イーディ is a bar where a wide choice of drinks and coffee roasted in-house share the menu with substantial meals and sweets. At lunchtime, options include omurice, classic pork curry and green curry, with set meals also available. In the evening, comforting dishes include tomato penne with chicken ragù and, for later hours, “the proprietress’s okonomiyaki”—hearty fare for when you are hungry.
There is plenty to choose from for a sweet or a light bite, too: simple fermented whipped butter and sugar, crêpe Suzette, a premium pudding and chocolate terrine are among the offerings. Reviews point to another appealing way to take a break while exploring the area: order dessert with a rich coffee roasted in-house or tea and settle in for a while.
The drinks list ranges from beers such as Sapporo Akaboshi and Heartland to whisky, shochu, wine and a wide selection of liqueurs. Reviewers describe a relaxed counter-seat setting for sipping a drink of your choice alongside snacks or a meal, and taking the time as you please.
